Island Girl Triathlon
The Island Girl Triathlon takes place in and around the crystal-clear waters of the Lago Mar Lagoon in Texas City, TX. This pristine location offers white-sand beaches, a pool-quality lagoon, a beautiful fast bike and a traffic-free run course.
Island Girl takes place on Sunday, September 15, 2024. It features a Super-Sprint distance triathlon with a duathlon option. The triathlon consists of an open-water 300m swim, an 8 mile bike, and a 2 mile out-and-back run beside a neighborhood lake.
